The Green Bay Packers officially begin training camp for the 2016 today, with team physicals and other preparatory activities taking place throughout the day. As a result, we should know which players (if any) will start camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list - remember that only players who fail their physical at the start of camp may be placed on the PUP list during camp, and only those players on the list throughout camp can be placed on the PUP when the regular season starts.

Hopefully, that will not be an issue for most of the Packers' players and the full 90-man roster will be available for the first practice on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, head coach Mike McCarthy is scheduled to hold his season-opening press conference today at 10 AM central.

As we prepare for the start of camp tomorrow, here is our final set of pre-camp Cheese Curds, which is a grab bag of all sorts of stuff. From tales of heroism to disappointment about being out of a job to how to handle pressure, take a flip through the links and head back here for more coverage from the start of camp.

Seattle Seahawks agree to contract extension with GM John Schneider |
Those Packers fans hoping that Schneider might leave Seattle for Green Bay if Ted Thompson retires are out of luck. Or are they...? Not according to one Seahawks insider:

Tony Smith's only fame is connection to infamous Brett Favre trade in 1992 |
Smith was the player the Falcons selected with the first-round pick that they acquired in exchange for Favre. Coincidentally, he and Favre were teammates at Southern Mississippi, but the two have not talked since 1992.

The Myth of Pressuring Aaron Rodgers | Cheesehead TV
Sure, Rodgers can make you pay when you get pressure on him, but it's far less likely that when he is allowed to work freely. The important thing for him is getting the football away before the pressure comes.

Le’Veon Bell suspended 4 games for missed drug test, per report -
Maybe an NFL player shouldn't miss a drug test entirely nowadays, especially when he's already been associated with marijuana use in the past.

Dennis Green, ex-Vikings, Cardinals coach, dies at 67 -
Our condolences go out to the Green family. Denny might have set up on the opposite sideline from the Packers for several years, but he conducted himself with great class.
