As usual, the star power in Green Bay is strong with several players ranking among the best at their positions in this year’s version of the football video game franchise.

For players of the Madden NFL video game franchise, players’ ratings are an annual source of debate. This week, the EA Sports team is releasing the ratings of the very top players at each position, and several Green Bay Packers are landing in the top fives at their respective spots.

The top players at all offensive positions have been announced, along with the defensive line. Across those units, four Packers find themselves in the upper echelons. The names released so far are expected ones, and we may see another player land in the top grouping of linebackers when that group is announced.

Here’s where each of the Packers who have been revealed this far landed in the respective countdowns.

Aaron Rodgers

Landing the top spot among all quarterbacks despite his comparatively disappointing 2015 is Rodgers, who has long been a Madden player’s ideal quarterback due to his scrambling ability.

Mike Daniels

Daniels tied with Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham for the third spot among all defensive ends in the league:

T.J. Lang and Josh Sitton

The Packers’ two guards are pretty much inseparable at this point in terms of their value and excellent play. As such, EA Sports has the two tied for 8th place among all offensive linemen with a 91 overall ranking (matching Cowboys center Travis Frederick). This ranking also ties them for third among guards, behind only Baltimore’s Marshal Yanda and Dallas’ Zack Martin.
