Packers’ Clinton-Dix wraps up holiday weekend by watching Nick Collins tape

It was a nice, quiet 4th of July for the Packers - and one player capped it off with some film study on his predecessor.

The Green Bay Packers are in the midst of their six-week break between minicamp and training camp. Some players will spend their time golfing, others will be doing charity work, and still more are celebrating birthdays or anniversaries.

On the Fourth of July, players took in fireworks, the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, and much more. But one Packer, however, has a better use for his time, even late into the evening following the holiday. That player is safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix:

Last year, our big headline over Independence Day weekend was Andrew Quarless shooting off a gun in Miami and hiding in a potted plant. This year, it’s Clinton-Dix studying his Pro Bowl predecessor at free safety. Thanks for making our jobs more boring, this weekend Ha Ha - we genuinely appreciate it.

Plus, if film study on Collins helps Clinton-Dix play more like him, then by all means, we support him staying up as late he wants to watching those highlights.
