After an evening practice on Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers take to the field for their second and final open practice of the week today at 11:45 AM local time. Packers fans should be excited by the return of three players from the PUP list yesterday and by Jared Cook’s first practice in particular; the new tight end looked like a superstar on Tuesday, catching multiple touchdowns and making big plays throughout the two and a half hours of work.
Also, if you were concerned that Cook, Ty Montgomery, or Sam Barrington were going to be held out of Friday’s preseason game against the Browns, think again. Mike McCarthy said in his press conference this morning that the team intends to “get them ready” for Friday.
