2016 Hall of Fame Enshrinement Weekend Schedule: How to watch Brett Favre go into the Hall

It’s a busy week in Canton - here’s an idea of what the new members of the Hall will be doing and how to tune in.

This weekend will be a busy one for Brett Favre. As a Hall of Famer-to-be, Favre will be spending the next several days in Canton, Ohio running the gauntlet of press conferences, media appearances, and other various events, all leading up to his final enshrinement in the Hall on Saturday evening.

For those individuals wanting to follow along with all of the weekend’s events, here is a list of several of the big items that will be receiving significant media attention. Be sure to keep an eye on APC and on the beat writers on Twitter, and check out the list below to see which events will be televised.

Friday, August 5

Group photo: 9:30 AM
Over 120 Hall of Famers assemble to welcome a new group of inductees

Media Availability: 2:30 PM
The Class of 2016 will be interviewed by media in attendance in Canton

Media Availability: 3:15 PM
Several past inductees are available for interviews, including Steve Young, Jim Kelly, and Curtis Martin.

Saturday, August 6th

Grand Parade: 8:00 AM
Downtown Canton hosts a parade for this year’s inductees

Enshrinement Ceremony: 7:00 PM
Televised live on ESPN
The Class of 2016 will be inducted and will speak in the following order:

  1. Marvin Harrison, WR
  2. Orlando Pace, OT
  3. Dick Stanfel, OG
  4. Kevin Greene, OLB
  5. Ken Stabler, QB
  6. Edward DeBartolo, team owner
  7. Tony Dungy, head coach
  8. Brett Favre, QB

Sunday, August 7th

Gameday Roundtable: 12:30 PM
The Class of 2016 will discuss the upcoming season and their careers.

Hall of Fame Game: 8:00 PM
Televised live on ESPN - click for more details
The Packers and Colts play in the first real NFL game of the season.
