Cheese Curds, 8/5: Hall of Fame weekend is here, so it's all about Brett Favre

Favre goes into the Hall and football is back on Sunday. What a great weekend to be a fan of the Green and Gold!

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Saturday at 7, the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony begins. 25 hours later, the Green Bay Packers will help kick off the 2016 preseason in the Hall of Fame Game. It's a big weekend for Packers fans, even if we don't get to see many (or any) starters playing on Sunday.

The focus for now, however, should be on Favre, and rightly so. Today's curds feature an examination of his most endearing qualities plus a look at what his busy week and weekend have and will look like. Then we move on to Sunday's game, with a look at which quarterbacks are likely to play against the Colts.

Also, don't forget to check out this week's APC Podcast, which is Favre-centric and features an interview with former Packers receiver Antonio Freeman.
