This evening, the celebration of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2016 is underway as the eight new members of the Hall are enshrined in Canton, Ohio. Two members of this year’s class have Packers connections, but only one is truly a Packers legend:
Brett Favre.
Although former Packers outside linebackers coach Kevin Greene is joining him in going into the Hall, today is all about Favre. As such, we’re dedicating an open thread to Favre and to the enshrinement ceremony taking place tonight at 7:00 PM Eastern time.
Click here for details on how to watch tonight’s ceremony and scroll through the updates from the Packers’ beat writers below as they give their impressions of the ol’ gunslinger’s speech. Greene speaks fourth tonight, while Favre will be the eighth and final speaker at the podium and will be introduced by his wife, Deanna.
Discuss away to your heart’s content in the comments, and let’s celebrate the career of one of the best to ever throw a football.
