John Kuhn was many things during his time as a member of the Green Bay Packers. Kuhn was a fullback, a blocker, a receiver, a special teams staple, a cult hero, and even the team’s featured running back for a brief period in 2010. But above all, Kuhn was a class act who handled his attention, criticism, and praise with the highest of class.
When Kuhn finally signed a free agent deal this week with the New Orleans Saints, it marked the end of an era of sorts for Packers fans, but certainly a departure for Kuhn. His connection to Packers fans in and outside of Wisconsin was evident on Saturday evening, when Kuhn took to Twitter to say a heartfelt goodbye to the fans who made his name echo through numerous NFL stadiums.

Thank you, John, for showing once again the class that helped to make you a fan favorite for nine years as a Packer. We wish you the best of luck in New Orleans (unless of course the Saints and Packers end up matching up in the playoffs this winter).
