College Football Week 2 Schedule: Tennessee-VT at Bristol highlights weak Saturday slate

For the casual college football fan, this Saturday appears to be a good one to go out and get some yardwork done or spend time with the family rather than camping out on the couch. There are no games between teams ranked in the AP Top 25 this week, so fans will have to wait for conference action to begin in earnest next week to really get interested in any significant rivalries.

What is fun and unique this week is the venue of tonight’s Virginia Tech-Tennessee game. The contest will be played on the infield at Bristol Motor Speedway, the half-mile racetrack that plays host to NASCAR races.
