APC NFL Picks, Week 3: Packers bounce back against Lions

New, comments

APC overwhelmingly likes the Packers to bounce back with a win this week over an NFC North rival.

This week, Acme Packing Company tries to bounce back from a rough Sunday picking games last week. The Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions in the home opener - the latest game at Lambeau Field since the 1920s - to kick off a four-game homestand.

APC’s contributors are all confident in Green Bay’s ability to bounce back this week, as all but one author is picking the Packers to earn their second win of the season. In doing so, they would prevent the Lions from winning two in a row in Wisconsin, something that they haven’t done since 1990-91.

After two weeks, Kris Burke leads the way with a 0.719 hit percentage, after going 12-4 and 11-5. Meanwhile, Vermont Cubs Fan is one game behind after two straight 11-5 weeks. However, APC’s consensus picks went just 9-7 last season and are now 21-11 on the season.

Here are our picks for this week, and be sure to check out the APC readers’ picks pool here.
