Thursday Night Football, Week 3: Texans at Patriots game details

New, comments

Here’s how and when to tune in for tonight’s Thursday night game.

NFL: New England Patriots at Houston Texans Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight’s Thursday Night Football game features a matchup of two 2-0 teams in the AFC. The Houston Texans come into tonight’s game with a new-look offense and new contributors at most major offensive positions, while their opponent, the New England Patriots, is dealing with a bit of a quarterback crisis.

With Tom Brady suspended, Jimmy Garoppolo started the first two games but has a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder. Garoppolo is Doubtful for tonight’s game, which leaves rookie Jacoby Brissett from NC State as the only true quarterback on the roster. If something were to happen to Brissett, it would likely be up to Garoppolo (if he dresses) or wide receiver Julian Edelman to take snaps under center. Note that Edelman played quarterback in college at Kent State.

Here are your game details, and this is your open thread for tonight’s game.
