The Green Bay Packers got started early on Saturday in their quest to cut the roster down to 53 players. According to Michael Cohen of Packersnews.com, GM Ted Thompson has made two cuts already this morning.
The players released before 8 AM central time are defensive tackle Brian Price, an undrafted rookie, and tight end Casey Pierce, a first-year tight end.
Pierre's release leaves just Richard Rodgers, Jared Cook, and Justin Perillo on the active roster, all but ensuring that those three will remain there on the 53.
Stay tuned to our cut tracker throughout the day today as we follow along with the rest of the cuts.
