Week one of the 2016 NFL season means that APC is back with its writers’ picks for the games on schedule for each week. This year, we have a big group - nine APC contributors will be providing their predictions throughout the season. Here is the lineup, which includes all three members of the new APC Podcast crew:

  • Evan “Tex” Western
  • Jason B. Hirschhorn
  • Kris Burke
  • Vermont Cubs Fan
  • Jon Barnett
  • Mike Vieth
  • Zach Rapport
  • Alex Petakas
  • Ben Foldy

Last season, Vermont Cubs Fan (161-95) narrowly edged out Tex (160-96) by a single game in the regular season to claim the crown and all the bragging rights that go along with it. This season, follow along to see if one of those two can claim the title or if it will go to one of the newcomers.

For this week, we find four unanimous picks among the 16 games. The Packers defeating the Jaguars is one, along with the Chiefs over the Chargers, Seattle beating Miami, and the Colts defeating the Lions.

Here are our picks below, and make sure to join up with the APC reader pick’em group. You can find all the details by following this link.
