It’s time for the final day of the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine, which means that the defensive backs are taking the field for their workouts. This year’s cornerback group in particular is a deep and talented one, and several players have posted good workout times in the early going.
The fastest 40-yard dash of the group has belonged to Jalen Myrick, a cornerback from the University of Minnesota who ran an unofficial 4.29. That made him only the second player all week to crack into the 4.2 range, along with wide receiver John Ross (who set a new Combine record at 4.22).
