Packers Injury Update: Joe Thomas questionable to return in Lions game

The inside linebacker was pulled out of the game during the second quarter.

Green Bay Packers linebacker Joe Thomas has been ruled questionable to return for the remainder of Sunday night’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Thomas popped up on the injury report this week with a back injury, and it’s possible that the injury was aggravated. Thomas left the game in the second quarter, and had recorded a single solo tackle earlier in the game.

The Packers will turn to Jake Ryan and Blake Martinez with occasional cameos from Morgan Burnett at linebacker with Thomas out. Burnett had lined up at linebacker alongside Thomas at times early on in the game. Thomas was not on the field when the Packers’ defense took the field for the first time in the second half.

Stay tuned for more updates from tonight’s game as the evening goes along.
