Packers cornerback Quinten Rollins was carted off with a serious injury late in the third quarter of the Packers’ Sunday night game against the Detroit Lions.

Rollins landed hard on the Lions’ sideline while defending a pass to Marvin Jones. He was taken off the field on a backboard while teammates looked on.

According to Sunday Night Football sideline reporter Michele Tafoya, Rollins was immediately taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

Nearly simultaneously, fellow Packers defensive back Makinton Dorleant was also being carted off the field for an undisclosed injury.

Rollins had been repeatedly victimized along the right sideline while playing in relief of Damarious Randall. Micah Hyde has been moved to the left cornerback spot in relief of Rollins, with LaDarius Gunter still on the right side.

UPDATE: Rollins was reportedly conscious and had movements in his extremities while at the hospital. The exact nature of the injury has not yet been disclosed.
