Packers FB Aaron Ripkowski now listed as questionable for Giants Wild Card game

New, comments

Green Bay’s fullback is now in question for Sunday’s playoff game.

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers have made one addition to their injury report for Sunday’s Wild Card playoff game against the New York Giants. Following Saturday’s practice, the Packers have added fullback Aaron Ripkowski to the report, listing him as questionable with a shoulder injury.

Ripkowski had been listed on the report earlier in the week, but he was a full participant throughout the week’s practice and was not given an injury status on Friday. Presumably his shoulder flared up during Saturday’s practice, leading to the update on the report.

Thankfully, the Packers’ other running backs appear fully healthy for the matchup with the Giants. Ty Montgomery and Christine Michael were not on the report at all, nor was fullback Joe Kerridge. Montgomery is expected to get the bulk of the snaps at tailback, despite Ripkowski’s big day running the football last week against the Detroit Lions.

Here is the full updated report for the Packers:

OUT

  • CB Quinten Rollins (neck/concussion)
  • RB James Starks (concussion)

QUESTIONABLE
