Packers running back Ty Montgomery left the game with just under twelve minutes remaining in the fourth quarter after a scary injury.
On a 1st-and-10 play from the Giants’ 36-yard line, Montgomery was held up at the line on a run off right tackle. Montgomery’s legs were tangled up in the pile while two Giants’ defenders wrestled his top half to the ground.
Montgomery lay motionless for a few moments, but later limped off the field with some assistance. His return is questionable.
Montgomery has 10 carries for 25 yards and three receptions for 41 yards in the game so far.
This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
UPDATE: Montgomery returned to the field in the fourth quarter, carrying the ball a few times on a drive that was capped by an Aaron Ripkowski touchdown run.
