Tonight, we finally get a Thursday Night Football game between a pair of teams that are legitimate playoff contenders. This game pits a pair of 4-1 teams against one another, with the winner getting a head start on the race for a first-round bye in the NFC.
Philadelphia and Carolina are off to starts that may be somewhat surprising, as both are tied with the Packers for the best record in the conference through five weeks. Green Bay does play at Carolina late this season, in a game that looks to be a crucial battle for playoff seeding come December.
Tune in tonight for what promises to be an interesting game, and one that should be more entertaining than most of the TNF games so far this season.
