College Football Week 7 Schedule: Weak schedule highlighted by Oklahoma-Texas

It’s a quiet week on the college football schedule, with only one or two rivalry games getting fans’ blood pumping.

NCAA Football: Texas at Oklahoma Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

We are in week seven of the 2017 college football season and somehow there is not a single game taking place on Saturday between teams that are both ranked in the top 25.

Instead, we are left with mostly uninspiring conference matchups between highly-ranked clubs and teams that are scraping the bottom of the barrels. To make matters worse, there are really only a couple of notable rivalry games among them. However, one in particular — the Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas — seems to stand out for its history.

In another year, Oregon-Stanford might have been a top game, but this year’s edition features just one team ranked, and even that team shows up in the 20s.

Still, fans of specific programs will want to tune in for today’s games, so here is your schedule of the top games taking place today.
