NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

One of the more surprising teams in the NFL so far is the Miami Dolphins. Although Miami made the playoffs a year ago, they lost quarterback Ryan Tannehill to injury in the preseason and brought Jay Cutler out of retirement to replace him.

The most surprising thing about the Dolphins, however, is their record compared to their point splits. They have averaged just 15.3 points per game — second-worst in the NFL — while allowing 18.7 to opponents; however, they somehow find themselves at 4-2 on the season, vastly out-performing their expected record of 2.3-3.7.

On the other side of the field on this Thursday night, we find a former Super Bowl MVP quarterback who has played poorly this season — to say the least. Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco has an abysmal 5.3 yards per attempt average, and has thrown eight interceptions against just five touchdowns.

With both offenses scuffling and both defenses playing reasonably well, expect a bit of an ugly contest tonight. Here’s how you can tune in.
