The Green Bay Packers practiced in full pads on Thursday, preparing for their week five showdown with the Dallas Cowboys. The team got some more good news on the day’s practice participation report, as there were no players downgraded from Wednesday.

In fact, the Packers actually had two players upgraded from limited participation to full, as cornerback Davon House and outside linebacker Nick Perry were both able to go through every facet of today’s session. That’s a great sign for a defense that needs one of its top cornerbacks on the field, particularly in the wake of last week’s “internal matter” involving Damarious Randall. Meanwhile, Perry’s presence will be especially important in run defense, as he is probably the team’s best edge-setter and will likely be called upon to help limit Ezekiel Elliott.

As for other players, the Packers still had both of their starting tackles limited on Thursday, and there was no change regarding running back Ty Montgomery — he also was limited, despite not being on the field during the portion of practice open to the media.

Here is the Packers’ Thursday injury report:

Did Not Participate

  • ILB Joe Thomas (ankle)

Limited Participation

  • WR Davante Adams (concussion)
  • OT David Bakhtiari (hamstring)
  • OLB Ahmad Brooks (back)
  • OT Bryan Bulaga (ankle)
  • DT Mike Daniels (hip)
  • RB Ty Montgomery (ribs)

Full Participation

  • CB Davon House (quad)
  • OLB Nick Perry (hand)
  • CB Quinten Rollins (ankle)
  • RB Jamaal Williams (knee)

The Cowboys, on the other hand, are trending in the opposite direction. All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith was downgraded from limited to a non-participant on Thursday, and speculation abounds that he will be unable to play on Sunday. Meanwhile, linebacker Sean Lee missed another day of practice and also appears unlikely to play against the Packers. Meanwhile, defensive end Charles Tapper was placed on injured reserve on Thursday, removing him from the report.

Here’s the Dallas report for today:
