College Football Saturday Schedule, Week 11: Top-seven battles will take out contenders

Two games between teams in the top seven of the playoff rankings will help clear up some of the postseason picture.

NCAA Football: Oklahoma at Texas Christian Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The playoff rankings are taking shape around college football, and with just three weekends of regular season play (not including conference championships), we’re starting to get an idea of the top teams’ paths to the College Football Playoff.

In Wisconsin, the Badgers are still in the thick of things as an undefeated team, despite being ranked just 8th in this week’s CFP rankings. They’ll finally get their first big test today, however, as they will host the 20th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes who come in off a huge blowout victory over Ohio State a week ago.

A few hours later, two massive games will kick off pitting teams in the top seven of the rankings. While Notre Dame and undefeated Miami face off in South Florida, TCU and Oklahoma will meet in Norman to see which Big XII school will get its second loss. The losers of those games won’t be entirely eliminated, but it will make for a very difficult road to make the top four at the end of the year.

Here’s your college football schedule for this big day around the country.
