Another week, another early injury to a key player for the Green Bay Packers.
In the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field, rookie running back Aaron Jones left the field with an injury. He was taken to the locker room on a cart, and the team later confirmed that he has a knee injury and is questionable to return to the game.
The Packers have inserted Ty Montgomery into the lineup as the primary running back since Jones' injury. Montgomery burst through the line for a 37-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
Also active on Sunday is rookie Jamaal Williams, while Devante Mays is on the gameday inactive list.
Jones, a fifth round draft pick out of UTEP, had taken over as the team's primary running back over the past few weeks, posting a pair of 100-yard rushing games.
Stay tuned for more updates as they are made avaliable.
UPDATE: The Packers have ruled Jones OUT for the remainder of today's game.
