It's officially the Jamaal Williams show from now on.
The Green Bay Packers have ruled a second running back out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears - Ty Montgomery is out for the day with an injury to his ribs. He joins Aaron Jones in the locker room for the reminder of the game. Jones was ruled out early in the game with a knee injury.
This injury presumably is a reaggravation of the ribs that Montgomery broke earlier this season. Coincidentally, that injury also took place against the Bears, but in the teams' week 4 meeting at Lambeau Field.
DeVante Mays is a gameday inactive today, making Williams the only remaining tailback in uniform. The Packers could also use Randall Cobb or Aaron Ripkowski at that spot in a pinch.
Before his injury, Montgomery had carried the football six times for 54 yards and a touchdown, adding two receptions for 14 yards.
