The Green Bay Packers drafted a Wisconsin Badgers player this spring, selecting outside linebacker Vince Biegel in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

There's a chance they might bring in one of his college teammates this week.

According to ESPN's Rob Demovsky, the Packers worked out former Badgers running back Dare Ogunbowale this week. Ogunbowale, a Milwaukee native, signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent after the draft last spring, but did not play in a game this season.

The Packers are dealing with injuries at the running back position at present, with rookie starter Aaron Jones out for a few weeks with an MCL sprain and backup Ty Montgomery in question after reaggravating his broken ribs last Sunday. That leaves the team with just two healthy tailbacks, rookies Jamaal Williams and Devante Mays.

Ogunbowale would be a good fit as a third down back for the Packers, as he excelled as a receiver and pass protector at Wisconsin. Stay tuned to see if he ends up earning a contract.
