College Football Week 13 Schedule: Rivalry week is here, and it’s spectacular

New, comments

Weekends like this are what college football was made for.

NCAA Football: Auburn at Alabama Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to an early edition of this week’s college football schedule post, which we have posting on Friday because the day after Thanksgiving always features a few notable games.

The final weekend of the regular season brings with it some of the best rivalries you’ll ever see, including legendary matchups like Ohio State-Michigan and Alabama-Auburn, as well as the longest continuously-played rivalry in college football between the Wisconsin Badgers and Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The in-state Alabama rivalry has the most profound playoff implications this week, however, with both teams ranked in the top six. The winner of that game goes on to the SEC Championship against Georgia, and whoever wins that contest should find themselves in the College Football Playoff.
