College Football Schedule, Week 10: Bedlam leads big week after first CFP rankings

The College Football Playoff rankings have arrived, and with them a whole new set of discussion, debate, and dispute about college football is upon us.

Fans of Wisconsin and Miami, two of the five remaining unbeaten teams in the country, are frustrated that the two schools are sitting at the bottom of the top ten despite Wisconsin being ranked fourth in both the AP and Coaches’ Polls. Much will change over the next several weeks, as both of those unbeaten teams are likely to face highly-ranked teams before the final rankings — Miami having Virginia Tech this week and third-ranked Notre Dame next week, while Wisconsin appears on a likely course for a Big Ten Championship Game rematch with Ohio State.

This week’s schedule is truly a special one, however, as seven different games pit teams in the CFP rankings against each other. Above all the others, however, is the rivalry between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State — the Bedlam rivalry game — wherein in-state rivals ranked 5th and 11th will square off.
