Packers-Lions Injury Report, Week 9: Martellus Bennett doubtful for MNF

Green Bay gets a few key players back off the bye, but a big target on offense will likely sit on Monday.

The Green Bay Packers will likely be missing their top tight end on Monday night when they host the Detroit Lions. On the team’s final injury report of week nine, the team listed Martellus Bennett as doubtful with the shoulder injury that has so far kept him out of practice all week long.

Bennett’s likely absence would lead to more opportunities for Lance Kendricks and Richard Rodgers in the offense, and it would rob quarterback Brett Hundley of a valuable safety valve.

Joining Bennett on the injury report this week is Ahmad Brooks, the outside linebacker. Brooks has been out for the last few games with a back injury, and he appears to be set to miss this week’s game as well, along with defensive tackle Quinton Dial.

A few notable Packers were on this week’s injury report at times for practice limitations this week, but are on track to play. That includes safety Morgan Burnett, offensive tackle David Bakhtiari, and outside linebacker Nick Perry, all of whom have no injury status on this week’s report.

Meanwhile, the Lions will be missing backup left tackle Greg Robinson, and are already without starter Taylor Decker, who remains on the PUP list. See below for both teams’ reports for Monday.
