A pair of star, MVP-winning quarterbacks, including one in his first game coming off injured reserve, have made for quite the matchup this weekend. The Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers meet this Sunday in a game with significant playoff implications for both teams.
Carolina, behind Cam Newton, will try to maintain at worst a tie with the NFC South-leading New Orleans Saints and preserve their standing as the first Wild-Card team in the NFC. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers returns for the Packers — not to “save” them, but to be part of a team that tries to win out in three straight de facto elimination games against teams ahead of them in the NFC playoff picture. Even if they do that, it might not be enough, but Sunday will be the first big test.
Since Sunday’s game is a big matchup with lots of star power, much of the USA will see this game on your local TV. Here’s how and when to tune in, as well as all the other details you’ll need to get ready for the week 15 contest.
