NFL: Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Today we get our first taste of NFL football on Saturdays for the 2017 season, as the college football regular season has concluded. Bowl games are going on, but the pros have started to take over Saturdays, and we will have games on four of the next five Saturdays (with the exception being week 17.

In fact, the NFC North will have games on back-to-back Saturdays with each team playing once in these next two weeks. Next week, on December 23rd, the Minnesota Vikings host the Green Bay Packers. Today, however, it’s Bears-Lions indoors in Detroit.

That game gets the early billing of the two NFL games on today, with an AFC West matchup coming up later in the evening.

Here are the details for today’s games, and be sure to join us as we follow along with them throughout the day.
