2018 NFL Draft Order: Packers currently hold 16th pick after week 15

The playoffs are now out of reach for the Green Bay Packers. With their elimination from the postseason on Monday, it now means that Packers fans can turn their attention over to the projected picks in the 2018 NFL Draft rather than playoff positioning and scenarios.

Furthermore, as a result of missing the playoffs the Packers will be in line for their earliest draft pick since 2009, when they selected nose tackle B.J. Raji with the ninth selection.

As of the end of week 15, the Packers are currently in position for the 16th pick in the 2018 Draft. Green Bay is tied with the Chargers as the only teams with an even 7-7 record, but the Packers’ stronger strength of schedule means that they would pick after San Diego.

Ultimately, however, the Packers could end up finishing anywhere between picks eight and 20, depending on how other teams around the league fare in the final two weeks of the season. However, the Packers would need to lose their final two games and have several of the teams immediately below them in the overall standings win out — there are four teams at 6-8 and three at 5-9 that could still tie the Packers on record. In all likelihood, even if Green Bay loses out they would be somewhere in the 10-15 range at 7-9.
