The Packers’ defense was less offensive, holding the Vikings to a touchdown and three field goals. Case Keenum completed 14 of 25 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown, which went to Stefon Diggs. Latavius Murray ran the football 21 times for 69 yards.
Green Bay got a pair of sacks from Kenny Clark and one from Kyler Fackrell, as well as double-digit tackles from each of Jake Ryan and Blake Martinez. The Packers even outgained Minnesota on offense, 239-236. However, Brett Hundley threw two interceptions, including one criticla pick in the red zone to Harrison Smith. The Packers also committed 79 yards worth of penalties to just ten yards for the Vikings.
Minnesota moves a step closer to a first-round bye, which they can clinch with a win next week over the Bears. The Packers, meanwhile, will continue trying to play spoiler against the Lions.
