The Green Bay Packers take the field back at home this afternoon, hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a battle of NFC teams who are trying to claw their way back into the playoff race. The Bucs enter this game at 4-7, with the Packers holding a record of 5-6.
Aaron Rodgers returned to practice on Saturday, though he is still ineligible to return to the active roster for two more games. Still, that could provide a bit of an emotional boost for the Packers, as he appears to be physically on track to return when his eight weeks on injured reserve expire in week 15.
The Packers will not have rookie cornerback Kevin King for the game, however, which will make for some tough matchups against the Buccaneers’ talented wide receivers. Watch for how the Packers scheme around Mike Evans, the Bucs’ number one wideout and one of the league’s leading receivers over the last few years.
