Packers vs. Buccaneers Inactives: Clay Matthews, Kenny Clark, Aaron Jones all active

The Packers get three key players back vs. Tampa Bay.

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Green Bay Packers Appleton Post-Crescent-USA TODAY Sports

90 minutes before kickoff, the Packers got some good news on the injury front as Clay Matthews, Kenny Clark, and Aaron Jones will all be active Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Matthews injured his groin during the Packers’ Week 11 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and missed last week’s game in Pittsburgh. He had been questionable for this week’s game.

Clark was carted off the field during the Baltimore game with what turned out to be an ankle injury. He also had been questionable to go for this week’s game.

Jones, meanwhile, has been out since sustaining a sprained MCL early in the Packers’ Week 10 win over the Chicago Bears. He was initially predicted to be out 3 to 6 weeks, but now returns toward the early end of that timeline. He’ll likely split time with fellow rookie running back Jamaal Williams, especially now that Ty Montgomery has been placed on injured reserve. Michael Clark, who was added to the roster to replace Montgomery, is a healthy scratch today.

The full inactive lists for both teams are available below. Stay tuned for more updates from APC.
