The Green Bay Packers have just thirty minutes remaining in their 2017 season, and so far their finale against the Detroit Lions has been an ugly one. The Lions lead 20-3, while the Packers have committed a trio of turnovers, including a pair inside the Lions’ 20-yard line.
The Packers have actually moved the ball reasonably effectively, particularly on the ground where Jamaal Williams has 14 carries for 53 yards. They also have an edge in time of possession, holding the ball for three minutes more than the Lions.
However, the defense has allowed a few big passing plays, including a 56-yard gain by Marvin Jones and a 54-yard touchdown to Kenny Golladay. All that combines to leave the Packers down by 17 points going into their final half of the season.
