On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers look to keep their playoff hopes afloat, while their opponents look for their first victory all season after rattling off double-digit consecutive losses to start a second straight season.
It has been another abysmal year for the folks on the banks of Lake Erie, as this year’s Browns sit winless at 0-12 following a 1-15 campaign in 2016. Cleveland took a huge step towards reforming a winning culture this week, however, as they hired John Dorsey as their new General Manager.
Dorsey, a former Packers executive under Ted Thompson, helped rebuild the Kansas City Chiefs into a contending team quickly after he took their GM job. This week, he took his first step towards doing the same in Cleveland by cutting wideout Kenny Britt, who had signed a big free agent contract but had performed exceedingly poorly this season (18 catches for 233 yards in 9 games).
