It’s here. Super Bowl Sunday has finally arrived, and with it comes all of the spectacle and pageantry that accompanies the world’s biggest single sporting event.

This year’s game pits the NFC champion Atlanta Falcons against the AFC champion New England Patriots. The two teams appear to have drastically different styles — Atlanta has a high-flying, big-play offense, while the Patriots have a more methodical offense paired with a stout defense — and this appears set to make today’s game a good one.

Pregame coverage begins early on the various networks involved in NFL coverage, and there are details here:

NFL Network: live coverage from Houston, starting at 9 AM Eastern up to kickoff
ESPN: 10 AM ET — NFL Insiders; 11 AM to 2 PM — NFL Countdown
FOX: 11 AM ET — Road to the Super Bowl; 2 PM — FOX Super Bowl pregame show

Finally, if you’re not really feeling football pregame shows today, there’s always the entertaining animal “bowls”:

Kitten Bowl: 2:00 PM ET, Hallmark Channel
Puppy Bowl: 3:00 PM ET, Animal Planet

Tune in and join us here for all-day discussion of Super Bowl Sunday.
