T.J. Watt has everything you might need to be a star in the state of Wisconsin. He’s local, growing up in Pewaukee. He had a huge junior year for the Wisconsin Badgers. His brother is one of the best defensive players in football.
Oh, and he’s meeting with the Green Bay Packers at the NFL Scouting Combine.
That’s what Watt told the media on Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis, confirming that there is at least some interest in him by his home-state NFL team. Watt spent about 10 minutes speaking with the media and taking questions on his brother J.J., his transition from tight end to linebacker, the future of the Badgers’ defense, and much more.
APC got it live on video, and you can see the full press conference below.
T.J. Watt spoke at the Scouting Combine today. He doesn't mind talking about J.J., but wants to forge his own path in the NFL.

Whether or not Watt ends up being drafted in round one, he certainly appears to have a first-round caliber media presence. He looked comfortable in front of the podium and was thoughtful in his responses.
Saturday’s media sessions have concluded, but APC will continue working through the multitude of interviews, workouts, and other information from the Combine.
