It’s here. The waiting, the mock drafts, and the speculation is all over; it’s almost time for the 2017 NFL Draft to begin. With round one kicking off at 8:00 PM Eastern, we just have 12 more hours to go as of the publishing of this post.
For Christmas, children put together wish lists, so let’s start putting our heads together on what items we would like the silver-haired gift-giver to deliver to the Packers’ roster. Naturally, I’m talking about Ted Thompson, who would hardly be confused with a jolly old elf, but who is responsible for filling his team’s needs. Let’s face it: Thompson lives for this weekend, as his draft-and-develop model of roster construction depends on good decisions over the next three days.
In today’s Curds, we find one version of a wish list, which happens to align very closely with my personal hopes for this year’s Draft. What are you hoping that St. Theodore will deliver over the next 72 hours?

Marshawn Lynch got permission from Charles Woodson to wear No. 24 for the Raiders - SBNation.com
This was a cool move by Lynch; while the Raiders did not officially retire Woodson's number, they did not give it out last season, the first year after the legendary defensive back retired.
