The Green Bay Packers recently welcomed the new class of incoming freshmen for their annual rookie orientation camp. The learning curve is steep for most rookies, but imagine having just one game of American football under your belt. Such was the case for rookie UDFA Geoff Gray, the mammoth offensive linemen from the University of Manitoba. Gray was kind enough to join us on the podcast and share his thoughts on the challenges of transitioning from the Canadian game to the NFL. Football jargon, faulty scanners, unicycles… this interview has a bit of everything.
We also hit on a few newsy items, including:
- Josh Jones taking ILB reps at rookie camp
- Jay Cutler headed to the booth
- Bob McGinn calls it a career
