Packers Minicamp 2017, June 13th practice updates & discussion

Green Bay gets minicamp underway with an open practice.

NFL: Green Bay Packers-OTA Mark Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Today, the Green Bay Packers begin their mandatory minicamp, the only portion of the spring practices and workout program that is required for all players to attend. Of course, the Packers have near-100 percent attendance at the offseason program anyhow, thanks to the hefty workout bonuses that the team includes in its veterans’ contracts.

Unlike OTA practices over the past three weeks, however, minicamp practices are all open to the public. Furthermore, fans will get to sit down as they watch since practices are now back at Ray Nitschke Field in front of the stands instead of at Clarke Hinkle Field.

If you can’t make it to Green Bay for today’s practice, join us in following along with the Packers’ media reporters to help us understand what’s happening on the field. To that end, here’s our list of various Packers beat writers who will be tweeting from today’s practice, or check the embedded list below.
