Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion was reportedly arrested in Hawaii early this morning.
According to a report from KHON TV, Guion was stopped by police in Waikiki around 4 a.m. local time on suspicion of driving under the influence. He failed a breathalyzer test.
Guion was previously arrested on a drug-related offense in 2015 and eventually reached a plea deal. He was suspended for the first three games of the 2015 season for that offense.
It’s unclear what additional punishment could result from Guion’s latest arrest. He is already due to serve a four game suspension at the start of the 2017 season for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.
A further suspension could be the final blow to Guion’s career in Green Bay. The Packers are already expecting increased contributions from second year defensive lineman Dean Lowry this season and added Ricky Jean Francois as a free agent and Montravius Adams via the draft this offseason.
