The Green Bay Packers have done a bit of reorganization of the front office this week. The team announced via press release that several members of the Player Personnel department have new titles, reflecting some changed responsibilities among the individuals responsible for scouting players.
Here is the list of individuals in that department, with their new titles.
The most notable change involves John Wojciechowski, who was promoted from College Scout to Director of Pro Personnel. In that role, he will move to the head of the group of individuals that covers scouting players in the NFL and CFL. Under him will be the Packers’ three Pro Scouts, Chad Brinker, Richmond Williams, and Luke Benuska. Benuska also gets a promotion, moving up from scouting assistant, while Williams has moved over to the Pro ranks from being a College Scout.
In the college scouting department, Jon-Eric Sullivan remains the Director of College Scouting, but has a few new names working directly under him. Two more individuals who were scouting assistants last season are now full College Scouts: Joe Hueber and former Packers safety Charlie Peprah.
The top of the organizational chart remains the same, however. Eliot Wolf (Director — Football Operations), Brian Gutekunst (Director of Player Personnel) and Alonzo Highsmith (Senior Personnel Executive) all remain in place with the same titles as the ones they held in 2016.
