Cheese Curds, 7/26: Packers report for training camp to begin 2017 season

It’s finally here!

NFL: Green Bay Packers-Training Camp Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

The wait is finally over - training camp is here!

The Green Bay Packers officially begin camp today, as the players go through their initial physical exams and various other orientation exercises. Then practice begins bright and early tomorrow morning at 8:15 Central time.

Today we should learn which players, if any, end up starting camp on the PUP list. A few players are potential candidates, including center Corey Linsley, outside linebacker Vince Biegel, and cornerback Demetri Goodson. Keep it here for any news about the injured players.

In the meantime, fans planning visits to camp will likely want to make a stop at the newest addition to the restaurant scene around Lambeau Field, a place which we feature in today’s curds.

Enjoy the start of camp, and Go Pack Go!
