Cheese Curds, 7/27: Driver crashes wedding, Montgomery works on footwork

A Green Bay couple got a thrill when a certain former Packer showed up unannounced at their reception.

New Orleans Saints v Green Bay Packers

As the Green Bay Packers start working on the field today at training camp, we have a few crucial news items to bring you while you follow along with this morning’s practice.

First and foremost, Donald Driver is amazing. It’s not just his records as the Packers’ all-time leading receiver; it’s just not his smile that lights up the room. No, it’s the personality he brings and the interest he seems to take in everyone he meets. That was on display this week in Green Bay for a lucky couple.

Meanwhile, one Packer turned a chance encounter into a workout regimen that he hopes will make him into a better player at his new position. Yes, of course that’s Ty Montgomery we’re talking about, and as you’ll see in today’s Cheese Curds, he found a great opportunity to introduce himself to a top trainer this summer.
