Packers rookie Vince Biegel celebrated wedding & 24th birthday last weekend

Congrats to the newlyweds!

It was an eventful weekend for one young Green Bay Packers player. Outside linebacker Vince Biegel, a fourth-round draft pick of the Packers’, celebrated his 24th birthday on Sunday.

However, that didn’t come close to the most exciting part of the weekend for the former Wisconsin Badgers standout. Biegel married his fiancee, Sarah, on Saturday in a ceremony in central Wisconsin. Congratulations to Vince and Sarah on their nuptials, and we wish the two all the happiness as they begin their married life together.

Sarah took to Instagram for her well-wishes for her new husband as well:

Happy Birthday to my new HUSBAND I think you're starting off your 24th year pretty well

One question for fans who have followed Biegel’s football career is whether his legendary mullet will make a return in the future. At the Scouting Combine, he told APC that there were two reasons for cutting the mullet. First was that he wanted to look more professional for NFL teams throughout the draft process, but the second reason (and, as he noted, the most important one) was that Sarah wanted him to be more clean-cut for their wedding this summer.

Clearly, from the photo above, he accommodated her request, but don’t rule out the mullet’s return in the future. After all, he joked at the Combine that he was considering growing it back out after the wedding.

So keep an eye on that hair. And maybe in a year or two we’ll see a big “G” shaved into the side of his head instead of a motion W.
