This morning, the Green Bay Packers suit up for their fifth and final early-morning practice of training camp. After today, each practice session (at least those open to the public) will be held either around mid-day or in the evening.
That of course includes Family Night, which is approaching this coming Saturday evening. The Packers recently announced that the annual event is sold out, meaning there will be 78,000-plus fans in the stands for the fun and festivities that kick off the new season.
Until then, however, the Packers will continue to work on their craft outside Lambeau Field, under the open air of Ray Nitschke Field. Tune in for today’s practice to see what rookie safety Josh Jones will do - the second-round pick has been arguably the biggest star in practice thus far, coming up with big play after big play throughout the first week of camp.
