Packers announce players out vs. Washington; Rodgers and Nelson will play

Green Bay’s dynamic duo will be in uniform for tonight’s game after all.

About 15 minutes prior to game time against Washington, the Green Bay Packers announced the list of players who will not be playing tonight.

While there are a few notable players on the list, it’s the two names who do not appear on the list that are the bigger surprises. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Jordy Nelson are not listed, suggesting that the two veterans will likely play a series before coming out of the game.

Showing up on the list are several notable defensive backs, including Davon House (hamstring), Damarious Randall (concussion), and Josh Jones (ankle). Jones warmed up prior to the game, but appears to be sitting out as a precaution.
