After 30 minutes of play, the Green Bay Packers lead Washington by the score of 14-10 in the teams’ second preseason game.
Aaron Rodgers got the game started with a touchdown drive for the Packers after a muffed punt by Trevor Davis led to a Washington field goal. Rodgers led a 15-play drive that culminated with a pass to Martellus Bennett for the tight end’s first touchdown as a member of the Packers.
After relieving Rodgers, Brett Hundley led an unsuccessful first series before driving the team down the field for their second touchdown of the game, a five-yard pass to Aaron Jones.
Kirk Cousins and the starting offense played the entire first half for Washington, however, but only broke through with a lengthy scoring drive at the very end of the first half. Cousins threw a short touchdown to Jamison Crowder just before halftime to make the score 14-10.
The Packers will likely bring Joe Callahan and Taysom Hill out to lead the offense in the second half
